Course Overview:

  • Course Description:
    Including its rich history and culture, Iran is not a simple country to ignore anymore. It has become the center of Shia Ideology and School of Thought, holding the Hawza in its Holy City, Qom. To be able to study in Hawza, you need to know the language, Farsi. Ilqa Academy has designed a six-month Farsi course for people who are interested. Having teachers who were brought up in Iran, with Farsi being their first language, makes Ilqa Academy exceptional and unique.

 

  • Target Audience:
    People who want to come to Qom and study in Hawza, people who have strong relationship or friendship with Persian speakers, people who have a large number of Persian speaking customers, and any other person who is interested

 

  • Prerequisites:
    There is no specific skill required to be able to participate in this course. Will start the course according to the student’s level.

 

 

  • Learning Outcomes:
    After completing Persian Language Course from Ilqa Academy, you will be able to:

    • Speak Farsi fluently

    • To read and write Farsi alphabets

    • Use past, present, and future tenses while speaking Farsi

    • Know many Farsi words with their meanings

    • Have a proper conversation in Farsi

    • Know how to ask questions in Farsi and negate verbs

    • Know a little bit about Iranian poetry and culture

  • Duration of each session: 35-40 minutes
