Course Overview:

  • Course Description:
    It’s a very big challenge to teach our kids about our beliefs at this era because of Non-Islamic Education Systems, social media and other factors. The new generation is not ready to accept anything we tell them blindly; they need valid reasons and are ready to argue for their points. As parents, teachers, or trainers, it has become very difficult to deal with these issues. That’s why Ilqa Academy has designed a course for kids of different ages to teach them Islamic Beliefs in details. These classes are not ordinary classes, they are designed according to their ages and new doubts they come across in school, social media or other places.

  • Target Audience:
    Students of different ages, starting from 4 years old, up to 12 years old

  • Prerequisites:
    Students starting from level 1 don’t need to have any specific knowledge. Other students who join from higher levels should at least have some basic knowledge about Islamic Law to be able to understand the course. If a student is a bit older but has to start from level 1 because of starting late, he might need to quickly go through level 1 before he can proceed to the next levels.

  • Learning Outcomes:
    Islamic Beliefs Course of Ilqa Academy, has different outcomes for different levels. The details will be given shortly.

Course Structure:

  • Duration: Each level goes for almost 8-9 months (One academic year)

  • Total number of Sessions each month: 12

  • Number of sessions each week: 3

  • Duration of each session: 25-30 minutes

  • Delivery Format: Online, Live sessions

Level 1 (4-5 years old):

  • How to recite Kalima and the meaning of Kalima

  • An introduction to Allah’s presence and knowledge

  • An introduction prophethood and Imamat

 

Level 2 (5-6 years old):

  • An introduction to unity of Allah (SWT)

  • Allah’s eternity

  • The love of a creator towards his creation

  • The rewards and punishments in the world hereafter

 

Level 3 (6-7 years old):

  • The principles of religion

  • The concept of Raazeqyiat

  • The need of thanking a creator

  • The need and importance of a divine book

  • Introduction to the Imams and day of judgment

 

Level 4 (7-8 years old):

  • The need of worshiping only one creator

  • Our relationship with Allah (SWT)

  • Allah’ justice

  • A deeper understanding of prophethood and Imamat

  • What are angels

 

 

 

 

Level 5 (8-9 years old):

  • Levels of Iman

  • The attributes of Allah (SWT)

  • Nabi, Rasool, Ulul-Azm, Imam, Khalifa, what’s the difference?

  • Some stories from Imams

  • A deeper understanding of Day of Judgment

  • The reason why we are in this world

 

Level 6 (9-10 years old):

  • Some questions justice of Allah (SWT)

  • Mu’jizat (Miracles) of prophets

  • The need and qualities of Imams

  • Maut (Death) and Barzakh

  • The Day of Judgment, some research about it from Quran

 

Level 7 (10-11 years old):

  • The concept of looking for Allah (SWT) is in our Fitrah

  • The Shaytan, Nafs, and committing sins

  • Our primary sources of religion, Quran and Hadith

  • The concept of infallibility (Ismah)

  • Hiding our faith (Taqiyya)

 

Level 8 (11-12 years old):

  • The need of a pure and divine religion

  • The only religion according to Allah (SWT) is Islam

  • The concept of Imamat in Quran and Hadith

  • What is Rooh? (Soul)

  • The concept of Shafa’ah

Course Policies:

  • Attendance Policy:
    At least 8 sessions out of 12 sessions every month should be attended

  • Technology Requirements:
    Any electronic device that has a camera and mic with strong internet connection
